Become a vital part of the team as a Senior Data Engineer in Toronto, ON, working on a contract basis with three days onsite. This role will harness your data engineering skills with a focus on ETL processes.

As a Mid-Senior level Data Engineer, you will apply your coding and technical expertise to create and maintain high-quality ETL processes. Your role will include supporting applications, performing code reviews, and using your knowledge in Python, Unix, and databases effectively.

Key Responsibilities
Create and document effective ETL processes
Independently troubleshoot and support applications
Provide estimates and complete tasks efficiently
Review and guide technical consultants' coding efforts
Propose solutions for identified technical issues

Requirements:
Proven experience with Python (2+ years)
5–7 years in Unix and Windows Shell Scripting
Proficient with Oracle, Postgres, and SQL Server databases
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Rancher
Experience with Airflow or Django is advantageous
