This is an entry level position into the Technical Line of progression.

Responsibilities:
Follow SOP’s, equipment and technical procedures to perform lab and industrial testing
Performing several routine qualitative and quantitative analytical tests
Performing calculations and determinations on tests
Evaluating physical and chemical characteristics
Be familiar with standard and industry specific specialized laboratory equipment
Prepare and maintain accurate records of analysis and tests
Demonstrate the ability to work with little supervision and be goal oriented
Demonstrate initiative and be willing to work in a team workplace

Qualifications:
Successfully completed an accredited N.B. S.C.E.T.T.

Chemical

Tech. Program or Environmental Technologist Program




Must be willing to work various schedules, including days and shift, to accommodate relief needs for the Treatment Plant operators
Preference to individuals with relevant industry experience
Solid analytical problem solving and decision making
Ability to think outside of the box and constantly look for continuous improvement opportunities
Display initiative and work flexibility
Must be able to work well within a Team and with minimal supervision
Must possess a solid safety aptitude
Be capable and willing to move up the line of progression
