Overview

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of automotive equipment. This role requires a solid mechanical background, proficiency with hand and power tools, and electrical diagnosis. The automotive Mechanic will ensure all equipment operates efficiently and safely, supporting our operations across multiple sites.

Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and perform maintenance to gas and diesel engines, transmissions, rear ends, differentials, electrical/electronics, power systems, hydraulic systems, and other service work as required.
Completes all maintenance and repair activities in a safe manner and ensures work area is clean and organized according to company policies and procedures
Perform accurate and complete vehicle inspections, diagnostics, estimates and repairs
Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery
Maintain detailed service records and documentation of repairs performed
Assist with equipment assembly and installation projects
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications




Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with team members and clients regarding repair status and maintenance needs

Skills
Proven experience in Automotive repair
Skilled in mechanical troubleshooting, and electrical diagnostics
Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment for maintenance and repair tasks
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency
Solid customer service orientation with effective communication skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
CVIP License - not required but considered an asset

Fulltime, Flexible schedule. Job Type: Full-time

Heavy Duty Mechanical: 3 years (required)
