Join the City of Vernon as an IS Support Technician, providing crucial technical support to end users. This full time position requires solid skills in network, PC, and software troubleshooting. As an IS Support Technician, you will report to the Manager of Enterprise Support.

This role involves essential tasks such as repairing computer hardware, performing network administration, and supporting the City’s network infrastructure. Your effective communication skills will enhance service delivery to staff and officials while documenting technical resolutions accurately. Key Responsibilities:
Provide basic and intermediate technical support for users
Perform active directory administration and manage file permissions
Assist in maintaining the City’s network infrastructure




Document technical procedures and resolutions
Participate in the deployment of technical products and training Requirements:
A+ certification or equivalent IT education
Minimum three years of experience with Microsoft products
Valid British Columbia Class 5 Driver’s License
