Prepare Structural drawings and 3D models that meet company standards.
Assist Engineers with the layout of structures.
Coordinate drawings with other consultants.
Support and mentor other drafters, with the opportunity to grow into leading the drafting team. REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES - Proficient with Revit, with solid wood frame modelling experience.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Thorough understanding of Structural and Architectural drawings.
Familiarity with structural materials and construction processes.
Robust organizational and self-directed time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
Thoroughness in completing tasks with attention to detail.
Desire to improve systems and innovate.
Ability to work in a team workplace and work towards common goals. REQUIRED TRAINING & EXPERIENCE - Minimum 5 years of experience in a structural drafting position, including wood frame projects.
BCIT or VCC Drafting Certification (or equivalent) preferred.
