Duties
Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning meals to ensure timely service
Support cooking activities by following recipes and safety guidelines to maintain high-quality standards
Help with food handling procedures to uphold cleanliness and safety regulations in the kitchen
Serve food to guests efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
Follow proper food safety protocols, including storage, temperature control, and hygiene practices




Support inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock needs

Experience
Previous food service experience or restaurant work is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
Indian Restaurant experience is an asset.
Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling standards is advantageous
Experience in the food industry or kitchen workplace demonstrates a solid foundation for success in this role
Knowledge of food safety practices ensures compliance with health regulations
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Strong communication skills for serving guests and collaborating with team members
