Robert Half is offering a four-month contract chance for an IT Support Specialist in Ashcroft, in the interior of British Columbia near Kamloops. The contract may be extended. Free private apartment accommodation is included.

Responsibilities - Provide first-tier support for hardware, software, and network issues; troubleshoot, resolve, or escal - Set up and configure laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and printers.
Manage user accounts, access permissions, and security protocols.
Collaborate with IT teams on system updates, migrations, enhancements, rollouts, and process automation.
Document IT processes, solutions, configurations, and user guides.
Monitor system performance and address potential issues to minimize downtime.
Develop training materials and train users on recent systems and tools.
Help ensure systems follow security best practices and compliance requirements.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Compensation: $22–$27 per hour.
