The General Duty

Sonographer is responsible for conducting diagnostic sonography within the Thompson Hospital Sonography unit. Ideal candidates will have completed an accredited ultrasound training program and possess patient care experience. Registration with Sonography Canada or ARDMS is required, alongside CPR training. Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations for patients
Maintain accurate records and reports on sonography
Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary healthcare team
Demonstrate effective communication with patients and staff
Travel to different Shared Health sites as necessary Requirements:
Graduate from an approved Ultrasound training program
