TEEMA is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to support operations at a petroleum products terminal in Port Moody, BC. This field-focused role requires extensive experience and strong safety oversight skills.

This 12-month contract position engages candidates with over 10 years in Health and Safety within high-risk industries. You will conduct field inspections, monitor safety compliance, and ensure safe work practices at the terminal. Your expertise in areas such as confined space entry and hazardous energy control will be crucial in conducting assessments and supporting contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular field safety inspections and assessments
• Lead safety meetings, discussions, and toolbox talks
• Monitor contractor compliance with safety procedures




• Identify hazards and verify safety controls are in place
• Provide coaching to contractors and site personnel

Requirements:
• 10+ years in Health and Safety roles in high-risk environments
• Safety certification (CRSP, CRST, CSO) or relevant diploma
• Robust experience in field safety inspections and assessments
• Knowledge of confined space and hazardous activities
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
