Enhance the lives of seniors as a full time Recreation Aide at Extendicare. Collaborate with management to create and implement engaging programs focused on residents’ needs. Reporting to the Recreation Manager, the Recreation Aide plays a vital role in developing and executing meaningful activities for residents.

You'll be responsible for rolling out daily programs, maintaining records, and facilitating outings that promote socialization and enjoyment. In this position, excellent communication and teamwork are essential to ensure a vibrant community atmosphere and effective care. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning and implementation of resident programs
Maintain departmental records of individual participation




Facilitate scheduled outings for residents
Prepare and evaluate daily recreational activities
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff Requirements:
College diploma in Recreation, Gerontology, or equivalent
Experience working with seniors
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Robust oral and written communication skills
