Shape the lives of residents at Maple View Lodge as a Full time Recreation Aide in Athens, Ontario. Implement engaging recreational programs that foster well-being and community growth. This permanent full time role reports to the Resident Services Supervisor.

You will focus on creating individualized and group activities that enhance residents' physical, mental, emotional, and social health. A compassionate and energetic approach is required to ensure all activities are meaningful and promote a holistic lifestyle. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement recreational programs for residents
Facilitate engaging group activities and individual sessions
Report on resident responses and behaviors effectively




Collaborate with the healthcare team for enhancement programs
Ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants Requirements:
Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field
CPR and First Aid Certification needed
Two years’ experience in long-term care with the elderly
Proficient in Microsoft Office and medical documentation software
Solid written and verbal communication skills Enhance residents’ lives through agile recreation programming and compassionate care as a Recreation Aide at Maple View Lodge.
