Become a vital part of community engagement as a full time Recreation Aide with West Coast SeniorsHousing Management. This role focuses on planning and implementing meaningful activity programs for long-term care residents. As a permanent Recreation Aide, you will report to the Therapeutic Recreation Manager and assist in developing recreation services tailored to the residents' needs.

Your responsibilities include promoting programs, documenting changes, and ensuring a safe setting through effective protocols. Engaging with residents and organizing events let you create memories that matter to our community. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and evaluating leisure services
Promote and facilitate recreational programs and events




Document and report changes in resident status
Ensure safety through proper procedures and equipment
Maintain documentation and statistical records for programs Requirements:
Grade 12 education and relevant diploma
Class 4 License or ability to obtain
Previous experience in senior care (asset)
Food Protected Level 1 and Serving It Right certifications
Ability to handle physical tasks up to 25 lbs Support the well-being of seniors through engaging activities as part of the dedicated team at West Coast SeniorsHousing.
