Job Summary

VIS Mechanical Ltd is growing, and we're looking for a Heat Pump Sales Consultant to help Victoria-area homeowners and property owners switch to effective, comfortable heating and cooling.

Heat pump demand is rising across BC, and this role offers room to build a long-term career in a growing, technology-driven industry. You'll help clients lower their energy costs and reach their sustainability goals as part of an experienced team.

Responsibilities
Meet with homeowners and property managers, in person and by phone, to understand their needs and recommend the right heat pump solution
Visit properties to assess the space and gather the information needed for a quote
Prepare clear, accurate quotes and proposals
Explain system options, energy savings, and available rebates and incentives in plain language
Follow up on leads and quotes and close sales
Work with our install and service teams to hand off sold jobs smoothly
Keep accurate records of leads, quotes, and sales




Represent VIS Mechanical professionally in the Victoria community

Skills
Sales experience, ideally outside or in-home sales in HVAC, mechanical, renovation, energy efficiency, or home services
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals while keeping customer relationships positive
Friendly, professional customer service approach
Ability to explain technical information clearly
Positive organization and attention to detail
Comfortable working independently and managing your own leads and schedule
Valid BC driver's licence and reliable vehicle
