Our client is seeking an experienced Electromechanical Technologist/Engineering Project Lead to support automation, robotics, and equipment projects within a rapid-paced automotive manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and modify PLC, HMI, robotic, and safety systems

Create and modify electrical drawings using AutoCAD

Lead equipment installation, commissioning, and modification projects

Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams

Support robotic welding, tooling, and equipment development

Perform root cause analysis and implement equipment improvements

Prepare project proposals and present updates to management

Requirements

3-year College Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering

Minimum 3 years of manufacturing industry experience

Experience with PLC, HMI, robotics, safety PLCs, and VFDs

Robotic welding experience required

AutoCAD experience

Willingness to travel to the U.S. as required
