The Event Server plays a key role in delivering exceptional service during private events and banquets at Ce Soir Brasserie & Bar. This position focuses on providing attentive, qualified, and polished service to guests while supporting the seamless execution of events alongside the events and culinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with event setup and breakdown, including tables, chairs, linens, and décor
Provide attentive food and beverage service during events
Serve plated meals, shared courses, and beverages according to service standards
Transparent tables, reset place settings, and maintain cleanliness throughout the event
Greet guests warmly and respond to requests in a timely, professional manner
Support the event flow by following direction from the Event Manager or Captain
Ensure all banquet spaces remain clean, organized, and presentable
Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times
Assist with restocking service stations and maintaining supplies as needed
Qualifications:
Previous serving experience in a restaurant, banquet, or event setting preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Team-oriented with a positive and professional attitude
Detail-oriented and attentive to guest needs
Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays as required
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
