Lead vital finance governance initiatives with CIBC as a Finance Governance Manager in Toronto. This role involves implementing compliance measures and ensuring robust internal controls across Finance. Reporting to the Director-Governance and Controls, you will oversee finance governance and compliance programs.

You’ll ensure that CIBC’s internal control structure aligns with current governance standards while supporting Finance’s risk management strategies. Your expertise will contribute to creating an effective framework for evaluating controls and managing deficiencies within Finance operations. Key Responsibilities:
Test and evaluate design and effectiveness of internal controls
Implement annual internal control testing plans for Finance
Ensure compliance with governance,



risk, and compliance requirements
Support operational risk management with Finance groups
Provide guidance on documentation and internal control structure Requirements:
Experience in risk management and control design
University degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification
