Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Certified Dental Assistant/floater to join our team. As a Dental Assistant/floater, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist during dental procedures and providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in dental assisting and possess knowledge of Abeldent.

Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready
Assist the dentist during dental procedures by handing them instruments, suctioning, and providing support as needed
Take and develop dental x-rays as instructed by the dentist
Perform basic laboratory duties such as pouring and trimming models, fabricating temporary crowns, and taking impressions




Provide post-operative instructions to patients and ensure they are comfortable before leaving the office
Maintain accurate patient records and update medical history as necessary
Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office's appointment calendar
Assist with dental receptionist duties such as answering phone calls, greeting patients, and handling paperwork as needed basis
Stay up-to-date with dental technology advancements and attend continuing education courses as required
