Join the Clinical Care Program at CAMH as a full-time Registered Nurse in the Psychosis Recovery and Treatment Unit. Deliver client-centered psychiatric care within a dedicated inter-professional team.
This temporary position focuses on providing nursing care to clients with schizophrenia and other mental health conditions. You will conduct ongoing assessments, develop care plans, and ensure a safe environment while adhering to Ontario's professional standards. This role also involves liaising with community agencies and contributing to program development, education, and research activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform ongoing client assessments and document findings
• Develop and implement interdisciplinary care plans
• Monitor patient responses to interventions and medications
• Provide education support and supervision to students
• Liaise with community resources for comprehensive care
Requirements:
• Registered in positive standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current B.C.L.S. (CPR) certification
• Experience in psychiatric nursing preferred
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Bilingualism or proficiency in another language is an asset
