Responsibilities
Thoroughly wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods
Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by regularly sanitizing surfaces and ensuring proper waste disposal
Assist with food handling tasks as needed to support food preparation and service teams
Ensure all dishware and kitchen items are stored correctly to prevent damage or contamination
Support the kitchen staff by promptly responding to cleaning needs during busy service hours




Follow health and safety protocols diligently to uphold hygiene standards in the restaurant or hotel environment
Help with basic inventory management by notifying supervisors of supplies that need replenishing

Experience
Prior experience in restaurant or food service environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Familiarity with cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards is advantageous
Experience working in kitchens or hotels enhances your ability to adapt quickly and efficiently
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or bending comfortably
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
