Responsibilities
Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight and goods to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Load and unload freight using equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring proper handling and secure transportation
Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly
Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment documentation, and asset protection records for accountability




Assist with the operation of heavy equipment or specialized tools required for freight handling when needed
Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries and addressing customer inquiries courteously

Requirements
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Experience in freight transportation, commercial driving, or related fields preferred
Ability to operate forklifts, heavy equipment, or other machinery safely and efficiently
Basic automotive repair knowledge for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and safety procedures
Physical ability to lift heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks as required
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact positively with customers
