Lead the technical direction of Distributed Energy Resources with ENMAX as a DER Operations Engineer. This permanent position includes hybrid working and focuses on compliance and stakeholder management. As a DER Operations Engineer, you will oversee micro-generation processes while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Your role requires technical leadership, coaching, and maintaining strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and major customers. Your expertise in power systems and project management will be crucial for enhancing ENMAX's grid modernization initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee DER application intake and ensure compliance
Provide mentorship and technical leadership in operations




Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Review DER policies and standards for improvements
Manage meter exchanges and coordinate customer account setups Requirements:
Degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 4 years of experience as a Qualified Engineer
Expertise in DER regulations and technologies
Valid Alberta driver’s license
