Become an integral member of Yukon Hospitals as a Chemotherapy Staff Nurse at Whitehorse General Hospital. Deliver patient care with a focus on chemotherapy best practices and collaboration in a supportive workplace. In this part time position, you'll report to the Manager of the Ambulatory Care Program. Successful candidates should possess a Diploma or Baccalaureate in Nursing, a chemotherapy certification, and at least one year of relevant experience.

Your role will include engaging with patients through comprehensive nursing and case management while promoting physical and psycho-social well-being. Key Responsibilities:
Administer and implement chemotherapy treatments and care plans




Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient care
Educate patients and families about treatment processes
Monitor patient responses to chemotherapy
Maintain effective communication and documentation procedures Requirements:
Diploma/Baccalaureate degree in Nursing
Registered with Yukon Registered Nurses Association
One year of relevant nursing experience
Current CPR certification
Chemotherapy designation/certification preferred Support patient health and well-being while working in the beautiful Yukon wilderness.
