Support adults with therapeutic activities and care as a Registered Practical Nurse at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Guelph, Ontario. This casual role focuses on day program support and medication administration. As a Registered Practical Nurse in the Community Support Services team, you will assist participants with Activities of Daily Living and medication monitoring, providing vital support to those with dementia and acquired brain injuries.

Key responsibilities encompass documenting treatment protocols, creating care plans, and ensuring a secure setting. Engaging in recreational activities and meal preparation also plays a role in enhancing the quality of life for participants. Key Responsibilities:
Document treatment protocols and medication administered




Assist with client care plans and profiles
Support daily activities and meal preparation
Administer medications as prescribed
Respond to emergency situations and provide direction Requirements:
Current registration with the Ontario College of Nurses
Completion of Geriatric Certificate Program preferred
Experience with frail elderly or cognitively impaired populations
Excellent documentation and communication skills
