Black Bear Builders is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Carpenter to join our team in Banff, AB. The ideal candidate will have solid residential and commercial carpentry expertise, a high standard for quality workmanship, and the ability to execute tasks efficiently in line with Alberta building standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and frameworks (including wall framing, roofing, decking, finishes, and custom carpentry).
Inspect and replace damaged structures and fixtures.
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant job site, following all OH&S; safety standards.

Work Conditions & Physical Capabilities
Fast-paced, physically demanding workplace.
Handling heavy loads.
Bending, crouching, kneeling, and working in wide-ranging weather conditions.
Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the shift.
