Job Summary

Responsibilities
Supervise daily café operations, including food preparation, serving, and cash handling using Micros POS or similar systems
Lead and motivate a team of servers and kitchen staff to deliver outstanding customer service
Oversee food safety procedures, proper food handling, and sanitation standards to ensure compliance with health regulations
Manage staff scheduling, interviewing potential team members, and providing training to foster a cohesive team environment
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and accurate order delivery
Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly,



and create a positive dining experience for all guests
Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including front-of-house and kitchen spaces, adhering to safety protocols

Skills
Extensive experience in food service, restaurant management, or hospitality environments with a focus on café or similar settings
Proven supervising or team management experience with strong leadership skills
Proficiency in POS systems such as Micros or similar platforms for order processing and cash handling
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety regulations
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs effectively
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a quick-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Experience with food industry standards including bartending or barista skills is a plus; hotel experience also beneficial
