Responsibilities
Support residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Assist with mobility and transfer activities, including heavy lifting when necessary, to ensure safety and comfort
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with feeding as needed
Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and document all medication activities diligently
Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation
Maintain a clean and hygienic workplace by assisting with light cleaning duties in residents’ rooms and common areas




Observe and report any changes in residents’ health or behavior to healthcare professionals promptly

Skills
Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments is highly desirable
Strong patient care skills with a focus on dementia, hospice, or disability care preferred
Knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety procedures
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently when required
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and team members
Compassionate caregiving attitude with patience, empathy, and respect for individual needs
Basic understanding of cleaning routines and maintaining hygiene standards in care settings
