Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for service, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience. Your mechanical knowledge, dealership experience, and sales skills will help drive customer satisfaction and business growth.
Duties
Greet customers warmly and listen carefully to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
Explain repair procedures, estimates, and recommended services clearly and transparently
Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services
Upsell additional maintenance or repair services that benefit the customer while meeting dealership goals
Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and issuing receipts
Maintain detailed records of all service orders, customer interactions, and vehicle histories
Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage future business
Requirements
Previous dealership experience is highly preferred, with a strong understanding of automotive repair processes
Mechanical knowledge or mechanic experience to effectively communicate with technicians and customers
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Proven ability in sales, upselling services, and handling cash transactions confidently
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a quick-paced environment
Ability to work collaboratively with technicians, parts staff, and management to deliver outstanding service
