Become the 3D FX Lead at Stellar, working on an exciting new Marvel Studios streaming series. Bring your technical expertise and artistic vision to create stunning effects for cinematic storytelling.

In this lead role, you will guide a team of 3D FX artists while collaborating closely with the FX Supervisor and production team. Your strong technical background and artistic eye will contribute to the creation of agile sequences that meet high standards. You are expected to mentor others and improve FX quality throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor your 3D FX artists to solve complex problems
• Conceptualize and create technically challenging hero effects
• Collaborate with upstream and downstream production teams




• Conduct department dailies and meetings to enhance quality
• Work closely with the Pipeline team to resolve technical issues

Requirements:
• 5+ years of industry experience in effects simulations
• High proficiency in Houdini, Maya, and Nuke Compositing
• Mastery of the 3D animation production pipeline
• Legally eligible to work in British Columbia
• Desire to learn new 3D FX techniques
