Our client, a medical communications company located in the heart of Montreal, is looking for an Account Manager. Under the direction of the President, the Account Manager will be responsible for maximizing business growth through the development of new business and the strengthening of existing business relationships across Canada. The successful candidate will be an independent supervisor who will be able to work in a competitive sales workplace, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry.

Responsibilities - Develop recent accounts and increase sales
Build and manage relationships with customers, qualified affiliates and other members of the professional pharmaceutical community
Create a detailed action plan that will achieve sales objectives and develop the territory's full potential
Analyze the potential needs of customers, identify new opportunities and generate a request for proposals
Business development mainly by phone, social media and on the road
Create business proposals
Act as a liaison between customers and internal groups
