At Teck in Trail, BC, you’ll be pivotal in maintaining one of the world's largest lead-zinc smelting complexes. The position focuses on installing, calibrating, diagnosing, and repairing advanced instrumentation systems. You’ll collaborate with a skilled maintenance team, enhancing operational efficiency while addressing complex challenges every day.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead safety initiatives and adhere to environmental protocols
• Install, commission, calibrate, and repair instrumentation
• Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues




• Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance tasks
• Drive continuous improvement for safety and efficiency

Requirements:
• Interprovincial Red Seal Certification as an Instrument Mechanic
• Industrial experience in smelters or process plants
• Familiarity with Modicon PLCs and Wonderware HMIs
• Experience with Foxboro and ABB systems preferred
• WHMIS certification and valid driver’s license
