Controller
Our growing TSX-listed client is looking for a Controller to lead accounting across multiple business units. You'll oversee a 10+ person international team through two direct reports.

Location: Calgary, AB

Schedule: Hybrid, 3–4 days/week

Contract type: Part-time

Salary: CA$50.00 hourly

Responsibilities

Own the close and reporting process across multiple business units.

Lead general accounting, AP and AR.

Act as the main contact for statutory audits.

Improve processes, systems and controls through standardization and automation.





Make sure IFRS and internal controls are applied consistently.

Oversee cash forecasting and working capital.

Integrate acquired businesses.

Coach and develop a team spread across several locations.

Qualifications

CPA or an equivalent accounting designation

Experience leading accounting in a publicly listed, multi-entity, and multi-currency environment

Strong knowledge of IFRS, controls and revenue recognition

A record of process improvement and automation

Explicit communicator who works well with teams in different jurisdictions
