iGears Canada, part of iGears Technology Limited, is building a cybersecurity team in Edmonton. As a contractor, you will run penetration tests adhering to industry standards like OWASP and CVSS. You have the flexibility to select your engagements while performing critical testing to secure client platforms and our own SaaS offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct penetration tests on web apps, APIs, and mobile applications
• Assess third-party service connectivity (OAuth, webhooks, etc.)
• Manually validate findings and create detailed reports




• Retest remediation actions and assist in verification
• Follow the defined authorization and engagement guidelines

Requirements:
• OSCP certification or equivalent hands-on credential
• Minimum 2 years in penetration testing, focusing on web and APIs
• Own testing laptop with licensed tools like Burp Suite
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
• Able to invoice as a registered business
