We are looking for an experienced ML Engineer to join a Canadian banking project focused on building a production-grade MCP (Model Context Protocol) server.
The ideal candidate has strong Python and Machine Learning / AI experience, along with hands‑on expertise in MCP, Databricks, and Azure. Experience with AWS is a plus.
Responsibilities Design and develop a production‑grade MCP server
Build and integrate ML/AI capabilities using Python
Work with Databricks for data and ML workflows
Develop and deploy solutions within Azure
Integrate MCP with cloud services, data sources, and external systems
Ensure scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability of the solution
Follow best practices for testing, deployment, and production readiness
Collaborate closely with the client’s technical and engineering teams




Requirements Location: Remote Anywhere
Strong experience in Machine Learning / AI
Hands‑on experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol)
Experience building, integrating, or working with MCP servers
Experience with Databricks
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure
Experience developing production‑grade applications and services
Good understanding of software engineering best practices, APIs, testing, and deployment
Ability to work independently and effectively in a rapid‑paced environment
Would be a plus:
Experience with AWS
Experience with LLM / GenAI solutions
Experience with RAG, AI agents, or LLM integrations
Experience with cloud‑based ML platforms and infrastructure
Experience taking AI/ML solutions from prototype to production
Experience in banking or financial services
