Workday HCM Functional Developer
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Workday HCM Functional Developer / Consultant with robust functional and configuration expertise across multiple Workday HCM modules. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, configuring Workday solutions, supporting implementations and enhancements, troubleshooting functional issues, and partnering with HR, Payroll, Compensation, Recruiting, and IT teams.

The ideal candidate will have hands‑on expertise in Core HCM, Compensation, Advanced

Key Responsibilities
Core HCM
Configure and maintain Workday Core HCM functionality, including organizations, staffing models, job profiles, positions, supervisory organizations, and business processes.

Workday Payroll
Configure and support Workday Payroll processes including earnings, deductions, payroll calculations,



pay groups, and payroll business processes.
Support payroll processing, validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution.

Time Tracking
Configure and maintain Workday Time Tracking, including time entry templates, time calculations, validations, eligibility rules, and approval processes.

Absence Management
Configure and maintain absence plans, leave types, accruals, eligibility rules, carryover rules, and time‑off calculations.
Support vacation, sick leave, statutory leave, and other organizational absence programs.

Required Experience
5 to 7 years Hands‑on experience in Advanced Compensation .
HCM Workday PAT experience (Payroll, Absence Management and Time Tracking)
Strong hands‑on configuration experience with Workday Core HCM .
Demonstrated experience with several of the following modules:
Payroll
Time Tracking
Absence Management
Strong understanding of Workday business processes, calculated fields, condition rules, security concepts, and reporting.

Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science , Information Technology, Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Equivalent combination of relevant education and substantial Workday/HRIS experience may also be considered.
Workday certifications in Core HCM and/or relevant modules such as Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Recruiting, Payroll, Time Tracking, or Absence are highly preferred.
