We're supporting a growing Desjardins Insurance agency in Paris, Ontario, looking for a motivated, competitive Sales Advisor with real hustle. You'll help individuals, families and local businesses protect what matters most, and build a book of clients who trust you for years. No insurance experience? No problem . If you can sell and you're hungry to learn, we'll get you licensed and teach you the rest.

Role Summary
As a Sales Advisor, you'll take ownership of building your client base across personal and commercial Property & Casualty insurance. We'll provide leads to get you started, but this role is about initiative: creating your own opportunities, earning referrals and growing relationships that turn into long-term clients. Your earnings grow as your book does.

Key Responsibilities

Build and grow your own book of personal and commercial P&C; clients

Follow up on agency-provided leads and generate your own through networking, referrals and community involvement

Understand each client's needs and recommend the right coverage with clarity and confidence

Lead sales conversations from first call to close

Nurture long-term client relationships and drive retention





Maintain your licensing and stay current on products and compliance standards

Ideal Candidate

2–4 years of sales experience in any industry (retail, automotive, telecom, B2B, hospitality, etc.)

A self-starter who takes initiative and doesn't wait to be told what's next

Competitive, goal-oriented and motivated by uncapped earning potential

A natural relationship-builder and confident communicator

Coachable, curious and genuinely excited to learn

Already hold your OTL (Ontario general insurance licence)? Great. Not licensed yet? Also great. We'll support you through it.

What We Offer

$50,000 base salary plus uncapped commission. First-year advisors typically earn $20,000–$40,000 in commission, for $70,000–$90,000 in total earnings.

Licensing reimbursed. We'll pay you back for your licensing costs once you successfully complete your probation period.
