This is a super hands-on role combining electrical and mechanical maintenance in a Just-In-Time (JIT) production environment, offering strong support for continuous learning and technical development.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical automotive assembly equipment.

Support automated assembly lines, robotic cells,



and conveyor systems to ensure zero downtime for critical customer shipments.

Perform mechanical repairs, equipment overhauls, and preventative maintenance alongside electrical duties.

Diagnose PLCs, variable frequency drives (VFDs), vision systems, sensors, and industrial networks.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives in a lean, safety-focused automotive environment.

Qualifications

Certification: Valid Ontario Certificate of Qualification as an Industrial Electrician (442A) or Construction & Maintenance Electrician (309A).

Experience: Minimum of 8 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a rapid-paced manufacturing or automotive assembly plant.

Skill Set: Strong balance of advanced electrical diagnostics and practical mechanical aptitude.
