Required Skills, Education, and Knowledge: College or University degree/diploma in Social Services.

Minimum 3 years of experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Must meet agency training requirements. (Standard First Aid & Level C CPR & Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certification) Understanding of behavior management techniques and accurate data collection either ABC chart or specific behavior data documentation.

Valid Ontario driver’s license and insurable by the agency.

Ability to communicate effectively, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a professional appearance.

Should be creative, take initiative, and be resourceful.

Must be a self-motivated and responsible person who is able to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as be a team player and a role model.

Must have experience in individual counselling techniques.





Must demonstrate the ability to build and maintain relationships with community partners.

Robust computer skills in MS Office, e-mails, database software (Share

Vision), iPads etc.

Fluency in French is considered a strong asset.
