Tasks Manage assigned inventory to optimize turnover, service levels, and product availability while minimizing obsolescence.

Plan replenishment activities by analyzing demand, lead times, order frequency, and service levels.

Evaluate inventory and interpret supply data using available tools.

Analyze requirements and place orders for both general inventory and customer-specific stock.

Create and monitor purchase orders.

Resolve discrepancies between purchase orders and supplier invoices.

Expedite incoming inventory shipments from suppliers when necessary.

Perform strategic purchasing activities to support operational needs.

Participate in special supply chain projects and perform other related duties.

Carry out any other related tasks associated with the position.

Job requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Buyer in a high-volume distribution environment with multiple locations.

University education in logistics, management, business analysis, or a related field is considered an asset.

Bilingualism in French and English is required to communicate with head office, suppliers, and various English-speaking external partners (approximately 30% of the time).
