Your Opportunity: Description: As an Orthopaedic Technician (Ortho Tech), you will apply, adjust, and remove casts, splints and traction equipment utilized in the care of orthopaedic patients (clients, residents).

You will observe, monitor, report and document changes in the patient's physical, mental and emotional state, while providing protected and effective, quality care.

You will play a key role in providing safe, high quality, patient and family centred care while reflecting the organization's shared vision and values.

Required Qualifications: Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program.

Active, or eligible for, registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses and Health Care Aides of Alberta (CLHA).

Completion of an accredited specialty Orthopaedic Technician program.

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications: Acute care experience.
