The Registered Dental Hygienist will support a general dentistry practice by providing routine preventive care and comprehensive hygiene services. Reporting to the lead dentist and practice owner, this role will promote excellent oral health through patient-centered clinical care, education, accurate documentation, and effective infection control.

Responsibilities

- Conduct patient screenings and comprehensive oral assessments.
- Perform teeth cleanings and fluoride treatments.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
- Document treatment and maintain accurate patient records.
- Follow infection control protocols.
- Sterilize instruments and maintain a secure clinical environment.

Required Qualifications

- Completion of an accredited dental hygiene program.

Preferred Qualifications

- At least one year of experience in dental hygiene.
- Experience with electronic health records.
- Knowledge of infection control practices.
- Strong patient education skills.
- Effective clinical communication skills.
- Interest in work-life balance and opportunities to work in multiple facilities on an individual schedule.
