YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE : Reporting to the Mine Supervisor, you will be part of the Mine Operations Department.

You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the workplace.

Completed & ongoing competence with required core modules: Staging, Drilling, Rock bolting, Blasting, Operate Scoop, extend services, Operate Utility Vehicle, Fall Arrest Training (as per the AEM Underground mining Classification Guideline); Competently perform all Mining 4 functions (Production/Development); Demonstrate competence in relevant UG Hardrock common core; Housekeeping – keep work areas clean free from hazards; Communication – listen to and communicate with others, keep accurate records on zero harm 5-point card, aligning with daily tasks; Teamwork – work with others to meet and where possible exceed daily KPI’s set by Supervisor; All other duties as may be assigned. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Miner 4 or equivalent; Physically Fit, self-starter with a can do attitude; Tolerance for hot, cold and humid environments; UG Comon Core (Ontario).
