The Pikangikum Education Authority is seeking a motivated individual to work as a Full Time Gr. 2 Classroom Teacher at Eenchokay Birchstick School for the remainder of the 2025-2026 School Year.

Teacher's Responsibilities: Be responsible for the effective instruction and evaluation of student achievement.

Be responsible for the effective management of all students.

Demonstrate an ability to differentiate academic instruction.

An ability to create an interesting and engaging classroom environment for all students.A strong desire to meet and work with young people inside and outside of school.

Qualifications & Skills: To be a member in positive standing with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) or be eligible for membership.

Speaking of the Ojibway language an asset but not essential.





Excellent technology skills.

Knowledge of Indigenous Culture an asset.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work positively with other staff members

Salary Range: $66,703.14 - $121,527.27 as per the Pikangikum Education Authority's Salary Scale.
