DHL Express has a casual Courier Driver opening in Mirabel, QC, paying $20.23/hour with increases set by the Collective Bargaining Agreement. This is a casual position with no set schedule; shift availability must fall between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Day-to-day work spans both driving and warehouse tasks. You'll complete deliveries and pick-ups, scan and sort freight, and assist with warehouse organization and clean-up throughout your shift.

Responsibilities

- Complete assigned deliveries and pick-ups on time, meeting all security requirements on each run
- Drive a van for courier routes, interacting with customers at the service point and over the phone
- Scan and process freight according to agreed procedures and Security Policies
- Sort and process inbound material accurately, by deadline
- Move freight within the warehouse area as required
- Assist the Tracing Department with thorough warehouse checks for missorts, on-hands and related issues
- Lift and carry parcels up to 70 lbs per piece throughout the shift
- Perform accurate reporting as required
- Participate in organizing and cleaning the warehouse area and maintaining a safe, co-operative work environment

Requirements

- Valid Class 5 driver's licence and clean driving record (required)
- Bilingual French and English,



with evidence of proficiency provided during the hiring process (required)
- High school diploma or equivalence (required)
- Ability to lift bulky, heavy, awkward shipments and stand for long periods of time (required)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team workplace, multi-task and work under pressure (required)
- Good knowledge of MS Office, including comfortable Excel use (required)
- Broad general knowledge of warehouse functions (required)
- Minimum one year of warehouse or customer service experience (asset)
- Understanding of First Choice Programs and Global SOP (asset)

Valid Class 5 driver's licence with clean driving record; bilingual French and English (required under Quebec Bill 96, proof required); high school diploma or equivalence; good knowledge of MS Office including Excel; broad general knowledge of warehouse functions; ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for long periods; excellent interpersonal skills; ability to multi-task and work under pressure. Minimum one year warehouse or customer service experience (asset). Understanding of First Choice Programs and Global SOP (asset).
