Shell Job Description We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Active Directory & Microsoft Entra ID (Azure) professional to administer, support, and secure enterprise identity infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience with Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), Microsoft Entra ID, hybrid identity, Group Policy, Domain Controllers, DNS/DHCP, and identity security .

The role requires strong troubleshooting capabilities, experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments, and the ability to provide Level 2/Level 3 support in a 24 7 operational environment.

Key Responsibilities Administer and support Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) and Microsoft Entra ID.

Manage Domain Controllers, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, replication, trusts, and authentication services .

Support and maintain Hybrid Identity environments using Microsoft Entra Connect.

Implement and maintain Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access, Single Sign-On (SSO), Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Identity Governance .

Manage Kerberos authentication, service accounts, Service Principal Names (SPNs), and identity security controls .

Perform Active Directory backup, recovery, and disaster recovery testing .

Support Active Directory hardening and vulnerability remediation activities.

Work with Quest Recovery Manager for Active Directory (RMAD)



for Active Directory backup and recovery operations.

Develop and maintain Power

Shell automation and operational reporting solutions.

Use Microsoft Graph Power

Shell for identity administration and automation where applicable.

Provide Level 2/Level 3 support and participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.

Troubleshoot complex Active Directory, Entra ID, authentication, synchronization, and hybrid identity issues.

Collaborate with Security, Cloud, Infrastructure, and Microsoft 365 teams .

Support enterprise identity operations in a 24 7 environment , including extended shifts when required.

Maintain operational documentation, procedures, and knowledge articles.

Required Skills & Experience 7+ years of experience supporting enterprise Active Directory environments.

Strong hands-on experience with: Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) Microsoft Entra Connect (formerly Azure AD Connect) Hybrid Identity Group Policy Management Domain Controller Management DNS and DHCP Active Directory Trusts Kerberos Authentication Conditional Access and MFA Privileged Identity Management (PIM) Identity Governance Strong Power

Shell automation experience.

Experience with Microsoft Graph Power

Shell .

Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments.

Experience with Quest RMAD .

Knowledge of Active Directory vulnerability management and hardening.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Experience with VMware is preferred.

Willingness and ability to support 24 7 operations and extended shifts .
