Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for multiple In-Process Inspectors in the electro-mechanical assembly industry in Ottawa, Ontario. Our client is hiring an In-Process Inspector to join their manufacturing team. This is a good position for someone with previous experience in a manufacturing setting, with an aptitude for detail and quality. The purpose of this position is to support the production process and to conduct in-process visual inspections of non-conforming products.

A typical day:

- Verify possible defects and repair prior to moving job to Final Inspection
- Make repairs on products as required
- Work with Manufacturing Supervisors and Process Engineers in dealing with priorities
- Performing visual inspections and repairs on the manufacturing floor

Requirements:

- Previous related experience is ideal




- Ability to perform short removal, soldering and solder mask rework and touch ups
- Ability to use microscopes, calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Must be able to read customer blueprints, hole charts and tolerance requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
