Wage: $39.00 hourly
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Work setting: Restaurant

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

- Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits
- Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies
- Evaluate daily operations
- Monitor revenues to determine labour cost
- Monitor staff performance
- Plan and organize daily operations
- Recruit staff
- Set staff work schedules
- Supervise staff
- Train staff
- Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
- Conduct performance reviews
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
- Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
- Leading/instructing individuals
- Address customers’ complaints or concerns
- Provide customer service
- Manage events

Experience in supervising a team of 5–10 people, with computer and technology skills, including proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word. Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handle pressure and tight deadlines,



manage repetitive tasks, handle heavy loads, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.

Demonstrates personal suitability through accuracy, client focus, excellent oral communication, flexibility, reliability, and teamwork. Capable of multitasking efficiently while maintaining productivity and quality of work. Willing to undergo a criminal record check and comply with all required security and safety procedures.
