Job Summary

We are recruiting for a full time Industrial Refrigeration Engineer in Mississauga, Ontario. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a mid-level engineering professional with strong industrial refrigeration knowledge and experience designing systems for manufacturing, industrial, and commercial applications.

In this role, you will contribute to the design, engineering, and successful delivery of large-scale refrigeration systems using ammonia, CO2, and HFC/HFO refrigerants. You will work closely with project managers, technicians, contractors, clients, and internal engineering teams to develop safe, efficient, and reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and specify industrial refrigeration systems for a range of client applications using ammonia, CO2, and HFC/HFO refrigerants.
- Develop P&IDs;, technical drawings,



equipment specifications, heat-load calculations, pipe sizing, and pressure-drop calculations.
- Provide engineering support during fabrication, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
- Collaborate with project managers, technicians, contractors, clients, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to support project milestones.
- Ensure system designs comply with applicable ASHRAE, IIAR, CSA/UL, TSSA, and other relevant codes and standards.
- Participate in client meetings, risk assessments, safety reviews, technical evaluations, and mentoring of junior team members.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $110,000 to $115,000 per year.
