Job Summary

We're looking for a reliable, customer-focused Part-Time Customer Care Associate to join our team. This role is key to keeping our floor running smoothly during our busiest evening hours, supporting the team with customer service, break coverage, and general floor support.

Hours Required

- Thursday to Sunday: shifts up until 10:00pm

Candidates must be able to commit to weekday evening shifts and be open to additional weekend availability as scheduling requires.

Responsibilities

- Expert Assistance: Help customers with product inquiries, provide advice for purchase decisions, and retrieve items from the sales floor.
- Specialized Services: Perform hands-on tasks including mixing paint, cutting keys, and skate sharpening.
- Regulatory Services: Process fishing and hunting licenses and taking passport photos.
- Event Fun: Brighten someone’s day by managing Party City balloon fills.
- Operational Support: Learn and operate the cash register to provide backup support for the front-end team during busy periods.
- Service Standards: Maintain a clean, organized, and secure workspace in all service areas.

Requirements / Skills

- Experience: Previous retail experience is considered a strong asset,



but we are willing to train the right candidate!
- Multitasking: Ability to juggle different service requests (like paint and keys) while staying focused on the customer.
- Technical Aptitude: Comfortable learning to operate specialized machinery (sharpeners, key cutters, etc.).
- Communication: Friendly, approachable, and able to provide clear information to customers.
- Physical Demands: Ability to be on your feet for the duration of your shift and move through the sales floor efficiently.
