Job Overview

Fieldstone Organics is looking for a friendly, reliable person to join our team at our General Store in Spallumcheen.

This is a varied permanent, part-time position that combines retail customer service, administration and some physical order picking. We’re a small, friendly team, working together in a beautiful rural location, with a focus on whole foods, health and wellness.

Hours: Monday–Friday, approximately 4.5 hours per day
Ideally 12:00–4:30 pm, although there is some flexibility for the right person.

Wage: $20-$23 per hour depending on experience

Expected start: Mid-November

The role includes:

- Serving customers in our General Store and answering questions about our products.
- Taking customer orders and processing sales through QuickBooks
- Re-stocking the store and picking customer orders in our warehouse, including lifting 20kg bags
- Processing online orders and creating shipping labels
- Scanning, filing and organizing order documents
- Answering incoming phone calls and directing customers to the appropriate team member
- Helping with labelling and packaging during quieter periods




- Pitching in wherever needed to keep our small team running smoothly

We’re looking for someone who:

- Enjoys providing friendly, helpful customer service
- Is organized and comfortable with computers
- Has good attention to detail
- Is dependable and able to work independently
- Is comfortable with some physical work and lifting 20kg
- Works well as part of a small team
- Has an interest in cooking, baking, whole foods or organic food - an asset, but not essential
- Has their own transport to our rural location.

Previous retail or office experience is an asset, but we’re more interested in finding the right person who is friendly, capable and willing to learn.
