Sample Runner / Warehouse Associate

We are an established flooring wholesale distributor supplying vinyl, laminate, and other flooring products to retailers and contractors across Ontario. We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated Sample Runner / Warehouse Associate to support both our sales and warehouse teams.

This role combines sample delivery, showroom support, and general warehouse assistance depending on daily operational needs. Delivering samples may not always be required every day, so the successful candidate should be comfortable assisting in the warehouse when needed. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys driving, staying organized, working independently, and being part of a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Sample Preparation

- Gather flooring samples from the warehouse
- Organize and label samples for upcoming deliveries and pickups
- Coordinate with the sales team regarding sample requests

Sample Delivery

- Drive to flooring retailers and dealer locations using a company van
- Deliver, replenish, and rotate flooring samples and display materials
- Pick up discontinued or outdated samples when required

Display Maintenance

- Ensure flooring displays remain organized and presentable in stores
- Replace discontinued products with updated samples




- Take photos of displays and provide updates to the sales team

Daily Route Planning

- Follow planned delivery and service routes
- Visit multiple dealer locations per day (located within Ontario)
- Maintain a simple delivery and visit log

Warehouse Support

- Assist with loading and unloading materials
- Help organize sample inventory and warehouse stock
- Operate a counterbalance forklift safely when required
- Support warehouse staff during busy periods or when additional help is needed
- Assist with showroom updates and new product launches

Requirements

- Valid Ontario G Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift License
- Comfortable driving daily between customer locations
- Comfortable operating a forklift in a warehouse workplace
- Reliable, punctual, and organized
- Friendly and professional when interacting with customers
- Able to lift sample boxes and materials (approximately 30 lbs or more)

Nice to Have (Not Required)

- Experience in delivery, warehouse, retail, or merchandising roles
- Familiarity with flooring, construction, or building materials

Training will be provided.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Work Location: On the road
